Setbacks

Setbacks are always part of our journeys. Sometimes they can be a catalyst for whole new work. And these times are filled with uncertainty and change, so embrace the unexpected, keep calm and carry on.

I am in a little bit of a slump recently. I had to close my Etsy shop for a while. My water torch is broken, so I need to focus on other elements of my business while I wait until we get our stuff from storage in June. My other water torch is in there and then I can get back up and running. I am looking forward to that. I still have supplies in California, my art and some jewelry books as well as some inventory. Plus my outdoor pop-up tent is in there. I think my wheel and large kiln will remain for now. I have no idea how it will be trying to get my personal stuff across the border from New York to Ontario now that everything is so strange and confusing with tariffs.

I am still able to solder, so I haven't shut this shop down. If there is something you like that is made to order, you can always write me to see if I am able to make it.
