I had developed the paisley pattern on the computer as a design exercise and also I had a handmade blouse that I wanted to create a piece that would compliment it. After making a spinner ring for a friend who sent me a tutorial, I made the Vintage Inspired Paisley Spinner ring, which became a bit hit on Etsy. After that, I kept creating different designs which were also popular, until eventually I decided to branch out beyond the spinning fidget rings. Crazily, I discovered recently that some of my anxiety ring designs are now being sold online without my approval or even knowledge! They even use my own photos, one of which is of my daughter in law's hands, who so graciously modeled for me one year. Being copied, was one of the reasons I began to branch out beyond what I had become known for back in the early Etsy days. Though, even now, spinner rings are one of my highest selling items.
